When one of our best customers asked us to create a bespoke blend to help with his IBS we were more than happy to help. After many tweaks (Carl knows what he likes...), we have finally found the perfect blend to bring him a well deserved tummy TLC.
 
All our ingredients are organic to preserve their optimal medicinal properties. Also it is hand packed in our tea studio in Dorking to ensure you'll get the freshest herbs possible. 
 
WHAT'S INSIDE?
 
ORGANIC PEPPERMINT
Peppermint is one of the best proven relief for IBS, according to NHS's own website: "Peppermint oil is the most effective treatment for irritable bowel syndrome". This is why a 1/3 of our Happy tummy tea is made out of dried organic peppermint. This aside, peppermint tastes delicious:)
 
ORGANIC MEADOWSWEET
Meadowsweet is a gorgeous native flower. It is a natural digestive aid and pain reliever. It has been found to decrease the amount of acid build up in the stomach and thus it has been used as a traditional remedy for digestive issues such as nausea, ulcers, heartburn, gastritis, indigestion, ibs, and diarrhea.
 
ORGANIC CHAMOMILE FLOWERS
Needless to introduce Chamomile soothing properties but did you know that it has anti-inflammatory qualities and can help relieve muscle spasms associated with intestinal disorders. 
 
ORGANIC MARSHMALLOW ROOT
Marshmallow root is a natural remedy which lines your guts and stomach, relieving pain associated with IBS and indigestion. 
 
ORGANIC LEMON BALM
Lemon balm is part of the mint family and as a subtle herby-lemon scent. Used since the antiquity for its calming and sedative effects, Lemon Balm is believed to improve symptoms of dyspepsia.
 
Ingredients: Peppermint*, Meadowsweet*, Chamomille flowers*, Marshmallow root*, Lemon balm*.
 
Our pouches are made with biodegradable wood pulp. Our cello bags are made with wood pulp and our mailing envelopes with paper :)
